At Insight we employ many traditional forms of psychotherapy.  In many situations, part of our comprehensive treatment approach includes the use of EMDR.  Careful preparation is always required before EMDR sessions and it is never used alone.  Thorough client history and assessment for readiness determines whether this will be an appropriate intervention for each client.  In the treatment of children, parent training and education are a critical to the child’s progress.  Many situations require new approaches to parenting and family interventions. Groups or classes for parents may be used to support the work.

The Florida Institute for Family Attachment is an important part of Insight Counselors, PA.  Carol Crow founded the Institute to assist families as they seek to help their children form healthy family connections.  The Institute is a specialized attachment practice and Carol has extensive training and experience in this field.
